Google’s Coordinated Spin Campaign

Now that Google has lost two separate antitrust cases, with a third currently in progress, the tech giant is using its massive media and PR resources to discredit potential antitrust remedies and muddy the discussion with bogus spin. Google already has a long history of paying off academics and experts who will speak in its favor — now it’s deploying an army across the media ecosystem to thwart any attempt to break them up.

Make no mistake, this is a sustained and coordinated spin campaign from people with a direct interest in the continuance of Google’s monopoly power.
